Dr. María de la Paz Alegre Salguero graduated in Chemistry from the University of Cadiz. After studying a Master's degree in Chemical Sciences and Technologies at the same University, she completed her doctoral thesis in 2015 on TEM characterization of homoepitaxial diamond structures. After her passage through a private company, she returns in 2018 to the University of Cadiz as "Research Support Technical Staff" (PTA) and further in a postdoctocal position granted by the Spanish central government where she mount a diamond polishing set-up and optimize the polishing condition to prepara diamond substrate to further MPCVD growth. Since April 2023, she is giving lectures in the Didactics department of the University of Cádiz.
