Diamond group
Department of Physic-Chemistry
Her research activity has focused mainly on lines of work whose bridge is the instrumental techniquesof characterization of materials such as different spectroscopies, optical, electronic and photovoltaicmicroscopies, diffraction techniques, etc. She has published 73 papers in journals listed in the JCR / SCI. In addition, she has been part of various scientific teams funded with 14 projects and / or publicassignments. The main line of her research work has been the characterization and improvement ofphotovoltaic devices and the development of DSSC solar cells and focusing in recent times on thestudy of thermophysical properties of nanofluids for use in solar technology concentration (CSP).
In relation to the diamond research line, she began this line in collaboration with the company"Instituto de Monocristales SA", based in Carmona (Seville). The research activities were based on thecharacterization of diamonds grown by HPHT (High Pressure High Temperature), as well as thecontrol of various steps in the growth process. She has also worked on CVD (Chemical Vapor Deposition) grown boron doped diamonds.
